When you use Dinkwize, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile details you provide when creating an account.
  • Video Content: Game footage you upload for analysis. Videos are stored securely using Cloudflare R2 object storage.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and analysis requests.
  • Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our video analysis and coaching services.
  • Process your videos through AI models (Google Gemini) to generate coaching insights, shot analysis, and rally detection.
  • Generate AI commentary using text-to-speech services (ElevenLabs) when you request personalized commentary on your game footage.
  • Facilitate connections between players and coaches.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send you notifications about your analysis results and account updates.

3. AI Processing Disclosure

Dinkwize uses artificial intelligence to analyze your game footage. When you upload a video or request analysis:

  • Your video is temporarily shared with Google's Gemini API for visual analysis. Google's data handling policies apply to this processing.
  • Commentary scripts may be processed through ElevenLabs for text-to-speech generation.
  • AI-generated analysis results are stored in our database and associated with your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Video files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with access controlled through signed URLs.
  • Account and analysis data are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database.
  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service Providers: Google (AI analysis), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (storage), and Vercel (hosting).
  • Coaches: When you request a coach review, the assigned coach can view your uploaded video and analysis data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Download your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and video files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
